Haha, the strike forced me to bribe my friends with a wonderous batch of brownies to drive me back to Munich. I passed out after an OD on chocolate and we just kinda munged our way through a 14 hour drive.

Barcelona - sounds wonderful - you did very well - avoiding the pick pockets - when John was there he lost everything while walking on the beach & spent 7 hours in the police station reporting the incident - so your talents at avoiding problems are exceptional - your nephew continues to grow at a rapid rate while you are travelling - & of course is beautiful & has the best smile & he now sleeps for up to 5 hours - well occasionally ?- he has discovered his vocal chords & really likes the high notes - I think he may become a baby Pavarotti soon -

I am quite shocked that you didnt enjoy amsterdam as much as I did! What about the waffles? The chips with curry sauce? The red light district? The hot chocolates? The beautiful people? Maybe when you go back you need to got to the Dolphin Cafe, actually I think its pretty seedy but its got awful decor which is nice! And interesting things to comliment your tea.

Just had a quick read of your blogs!! Sounds AMAZING! Jealous!

Glad to see you’re actually in the mood to travel now, although I’m a little disappointed that of all the reasons to be excited about Amsterdam, you’ve chosen Ani DiFranco! Oh well.

Incidentally, I saw Manson a couple Fridays ago, and I thought you might be pleased to hear that The Spazzys opened for them, and sucked gigantic alien monster nuts! Check out my MySpace blog thing for the full report.

Where are you now?
Hope you are feeling more settled in your travelling - have not had time to comment on your Blog until now - it is Sunday - and very boring in Australia at this time of the year - Europe is a wonderful place to explore - but I reckon it takes about 3- 4 weeks to feel OK after the gruelling effects of jet lag and not knowing why you left in the first place - so hang in there - send me photos of Poland - sounds beautiful - I have heard that Solivinia is interesting as well - though may be alot of tourists - and try the European beer - compare it to Australian beer - see which country has the worst tasting - you might find out it is better than Aussie brew.

Will send you an email later today - with your nephews photos taken on 12 October - he is in training for the 2020 swimming olympics -
