Amsterdam

A few of you might know already that I’ve been a bit low over the last few days. I don’t know whether it’s Amsterdam itself or just a low after the initial high of leaving, arriving etc..

Hard to pinpoint it. But the fact is I’ve been really homesick over the last 2 days. So what do you do when that happens….why you go to Poland of course!!

So that’s what we’re doing. Going to Poland for a few days (don’t try to talk me out of it Mum, I’ve already paid for the sleeper train reservation) then back to Amsterdam for the Ani concert. Which by the way I have tickets for now. Hallelujah!!

Sounds a bit crazy but I need to get out of this place.

So, I’ll see you in Gdansk!

(pictures of Amsterdam are coming!!)

Aww, don’t be homesick. There are adventures to have! And the weather down here is kind of blah, if that helps.

    Adventures!

    :)

So it turns the smileys into actual smileys. That’s a bit annoying.

    Hello Mia
    Where are you now?
Hope you are feeling more settled in your travelling - have not had time to comment on your Blog until now - it is Sunday - and very boring in Australia at this time of the year - Europe is a wonderful place to explore - but I reckon it takes about 3- 4 weeks to feel OK after the gruelling effects of jet lag and not knowing why you left in the first place - so hang in there - send me photos of Poland - sounds beautiful - I have heard that Solivinia is interesting as well - though may be alot of tourists - and try the European beer - compare it to Australian beer - see which country has the worst tasting - you might find out it is better than Aussie brew.

Will send you an email later today - with your nephews photos taken on 12 October - he is in training for the 2020 swimming olympics -

    Love June
